SECOND ANNUAL MEETING OF THE PSYCHODYNAMIC
PSYCHOANALYTIC RESEARCH SOCIETY (PPRS)
and the
RESEARCH ASSOCIATES OF THE AMERICAN
PSYCHOANALYTIC ASSOCIATION (RAAPA)

Winter 2012

January 10-15
Waldorf Astoria Hotel, New York, New York

The Program Committee of the Psychodynamic Psychoanalytic Research Society (PPRS) in collaboration with the Research Associates of the American Psychoanalytic Association (RAAPA) invites research submissions for the third annual meeting of the PPRS, held in conjunction with the Winter 2012 Meeting of the American Psychoanalytic Association (APsaA) at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel. The PPRS is an independent research organization affiliated with APsaA. Membership or association with APsaA is not necessary to present at or attend PPRS events. International and non-APsaA affiliated presentations are encouraged.

The PPRS Program Committee welcomes submissions with empirical and/or conceptual
relevance to psychodynamic/psychoanalytic theory, technique, aspects of practice, and effectiveness of psychodynamic psychotherapy and psychoanalysis. An additional important emphasis is upon contributions from multiple disciplines, including research questions in ‘neighboring fields’ – such as clinical, developmental and social psychology, family psychology, neuroscience, anthropology, sociology, literary criticism, as well as historical studies, history of ideas, and art history.

Submissions that involve junior investigators, incorporate both research and clinical perspectives (e.g., through a clinically-oriented discussant), or represent cross-institutional and international collaborations are encouraged.

Submissions may be submitted online or emailed to linda.isakson@yale.edu
